What Is The Church of Greater Lansing?
The Church of Greater Lansing is a network of churches and pastors and in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties who joined forces in 2008 to help make an indelible spiritual and economic impact on Lansing and communities in the surrounding area. Our quarterly pastor summits are designed to connect you to a broader local church network that provides practical resources, fellowship, mutual encouragement, and unique opportunities to collaborate with pastors in the Tri-County Area through service, prayer, and regional conferences.
You can expect to be a part of a movement greater than any one church. You can expect to be warmly welcomed by your colleagues who have a passion to see our region reached for Christ. And you can expect to take part of transforming the Greater Lansing Area with Christ! The format of the quarterly summits will almost always include an element of worship, food, fellowship, pastoral testimony, discussion and networking opportunities.
Summits are open to any pastor in Ingham, Eaton or Clinton counties who shares our collective values and beliefs. (visit iCOGL.com to review our statement). The summit luncheons are from noon-2 pm on designated Tuesdays hosted at various locations. Pastors will often bring a guest, colleague or elder with them, and we welcome their attendance as well.

Venture Capital Outlook 2014 is part of the Potomac Tech Wire breakfast series that brings together senior executives in the Mid-Atlantic to discuss technology issues in a conversational, roundtable environment moderated by the editor of Potomac Tech Wire. Due to privacy concerns of our attendees, we do not provide a full list of attendees to exhibitors.
What if we have already purchased tickets to the event?
We will refund the ticket registration if you wish to use one of the free tickets under the exhibitor package for someone who has already purchased a ticket.
No, the line up of speakers is determined independent of sponsorship or exhibiting. All sponsors will be noted at the beginning and end of the program.
Set-up will run from 6:45 am – 7:15 am. We ask that all exhibits be set up by 7:15 am.
Will there be internet connections at the exhibit tables?
There will be open access WiFi.
Can we set up a booth instead of using the table?
Yes, but the booth must roughly fit in the area of one table (6 ft x 2.5 ft).
What is the exhibitor cancelation policy?
Refund of 50% if canceled 7 days before event. No refund within 7 days of the event.

Angel Elevator Pitch is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to network with Angels and other CXOs, to present their company and ideas, and learn first-hand how to raise early-stage capital in today''s market.
If you are an entrepreneur in a startup that is currently seeking capital and would like to present your best two-minute (time limit is strictly enforced) elevator pitch to a panel of Angels, you must follow the instructions below. Pitching slots go quickly, so sign up early!
presenters are assigned on a first-come basis and
slot availability is confirmed automatically during registration;
the maximum number of presenters is 10, plus
Once you register additional guidelines will be sent. You must RSVP receipt. Your pitch is two minutes,timing is strictly enforced, no handouts, cards, demos or samples allowed during or immediately after your presentation.
Your pitch is followed by 4 minutes of Q&A by the panel; and 4 minutes of non-rebuttal feedback from each panelist. Only one person from the company may present the (2) minute pitch to the investors and answer questions from the panel.
Entrepreneurs not yet ready to pitch or unable to reserve a pitch slot are encouraged register and attend. By listening to the pitches, the Q&A, and the critiques you learn the key points required to develop an effective pitch that investors value. You also have the opportunity to network with investors person to person at the event.
If you are an investor, come and listen to the entrepreneurs’ pitches—you never know where you’ll find your next deal. Learn how other investors rate the pitches; which Angels pass and for what reasons; and which entrepreneurs other Angels want to talk to ASAP.

With a background in design and marketing, and a penchace for public speaking and inspiring others, Melody will lead you towards your own motivation to follow your own dreams!
You will also hear from Jessica Blackwell from Equestricare, who offers a pragmatic approach to starting out in business, or moving forward in business, with ideas to even help those that work for others to feel more satisfied in their work. Jess has followed her passion and turned her business into one that is recognised for a number of things nationally, and her forward thinking and problem solving skills are a huge asset to anyone that can soak up some of her ideas as she speaks.

You dont have to be a horse person to come, you dont have to be wanting to start a business or be already in business but wanting some help to move forward, you might just want to be around some people for a few hours to get some motivation in general. The evening will consist of around two hours of ''formal'' speaking and an hour of networking with other inspired people.
